Join the Friends of the Kennebec River Rail Trail
While generous private donations and government funding built the Kennebec River Rail Trail, ongoing maintenance and enhancements continue to depend on community and membership support.
The Friends of the Kennebec River Rail Trail are people like you who enjoy the trail and want to see it grow and continue to benefit the community.
As Friends of the KRRT, we:
- Advocate with local, state, and federal governments for funding and support.
- Raise awareness of the benefits of the trail through public events.
- Organize volunteer cleanup and work days on the trail.
- Help pay for maintenance and upkeep of the trail.

If you would like to be part of our Adopt the Trail program, you can donate here $250 for every 1/4 mile that you wish to sponsor. We are collecting trail sponsorships for this new year. Your name or organization logo will be included on our next round of publicity.
