Join the Friends of the Kennebec River Rail Trail

While government funding has helped to build the Kennebec River Rail Trail, ongoing maintenance and enhancements depend on community and membership support.  

The Friends of the Kennebec River Rail Trail are people like you who enjoy the trail and want to see it completed and continue to benefit the community.

As Friends of the KRRT, we:

• Raise funds for trail construction and maintenance.
• Advocate with local, state, and federal governments for funds or grants to improve the trail and connect it with other area trails.
• Coordinate volunteers for trail maintenance.
• Raise awareness of the benefits of the trail through public events.

We need your support!

Annual Membership Levels:

• $500 Leader * (Free Shirt or Cap)
• $300 Miler * (Free Shirt or Cap)
• $150 Half-Miler * (Free Shirt or Cap)
• $75 Quarter-Miler * (Free Shirt or Cap)
• $35 Family (Free Map)
• $25 Individual
• $10 Senior/Student
